Your financial gift, regardless of the amount, will enable St. Francis Center to continue to provide vital resources to those in our community who are homeless, leading to personal transformation and ultimately to self-sufficiency. All gifts to SFC are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law.
Ninety-one percent of every dollar donated is spent directly on programs and services, so your financial contribution goes a long way toward allowing SFC to continue providing vital resources to our guests. Learn more about what your financial contribution can provide by clicking here.

Workplace Giving
Many companies match their employees’ donations dollar-for-dollar. Make your donation to SFC go further by checking with your human resources department to see if your company will match your donation. If they will, please be sure to let us both know about your donation to St. Francis Center.
Donate your Car
SFC is a partner with Vehicles for Charity, a nonprofit organization that manages all aspects of vehicle donations, and returns part of the proceeds back to SFC. The process is quite simple and can usually be completed within five to ten days. Learn more (and be sure to designate St. Francis Center as your designated beneficiary!)
Memorial & Tribute Donations
Make a financial donation to St. Francis Center in memory of a loved one, as a thank you to someone, or in commemoration of a special occasion such as a birthday, anniversary, or graduation. When making a memorial or tribute gift, please provide their information when making your donation online, and we will be happy to send a note acknowledging your gift.

Make the most of your contributions with the Homeless Contribution Tax Credit (HCTC)
Did you know all contributions to St. Francis Center of a least $250 per year are eligible for a 25% Colorado HCTC income tax credit? For example, a contribution of $250 amounts to a $62.50 tax credit, which is deducted from your total amount of annual state tax. The HCTC tax credit, which replaced the Enterprise Zone tax credit in January 2023, applies to contributions up to $100,000.
If you would like an HCTC tax credit for your contribution, please let us know. Please provide your full Social Security number or Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) as required for verification with the State of Colorado and the Division of Housing in the Department of Local Affairs (DOLA). We’ll keep your number safe, and once the submitted application is approved you will receive a certificate to file with your income taxes.
